I feel that he has more class than Mike Hamilton.I think that 6-6 will get him another year. If Hart was going to axe him, seems we would have made the move on Monday. That way, we could have got the cream of the crop from the new blood. He didn't pull the trigger, so I am afraid that means we are facing another 13 months of Dools.

To me it confirms what should be obvious to all. If Gruden was a real possibility, he's available now. Why wait, unless Gruden is definitely not a possibility and Hart has to wait for his next coach to finish the year with his current team.
I don't think he will axe him until he has an agreement with the new coach. At least not in public. Dooley could very well already know he has been fired. Who knows what has went on behind closed doors. I would also throw out(I have said it before), what if Hart stays quiet until Feb 16th? Everyone is up in arms thinking Dooley is back for 2013. Then Hart calls the presser and announces Dooley is fired and replaced with(whoever). Hart just saved UT 1 million dollars. A bit shady to the recruits, but I could see it playing out that way.
So to save a million, Hart would try to hire a coach after NSD (horrible timing and puts us in a worse position to get a better coach) and he would throw away a year of recruiting with uncertainty surrounding the program. I would hope he would announce his resignation the same day if he's that dumb.

Unless that coach was Gruden or a coach currently not coaching. Sure it would help with recruiting to announce it sooner. Maybe Gruden/other coach is not ready for it to be announced. Just another thought I tossed out there. Saving 1 million dollars would not hurt our current situation.
