Saying that CLK is going to have to fire CEO over something. Has anyone heard this? Chuck Oliver said he talked to someone as close to the football program as it gets and that CEO will be let go before spring pratice.
So, Oliver says it came from someone "as close to the program as it gets" but they want it better sourced. How professional.I was listening when they were talking about it. They were being very vague and saying that since it was so potentially damaging, it was something that they weren't going to put on the air until they had it better sourced.
They were working hard to take the high road and act like journalists . . . as they teased the story about 47 times.
That's what I don't understand about this or the rumor from a few days ago about an assistant being released before Spring ball. Why would they keep them around until Spring practice started? What purpose would it serve? What could he have done, and why wait so long if something has already happened?
Would it not have leaked?
It seems impossible that the guys here on Atlanta radio would be in the know about this without any rumors flying around the Vol message boards.
