Kyle Whittingham? Honestly I think Edsall would be a good choice. He's taken UConn to a pretty high level.... Think about that.... UConn football is respectable?!??!

Really? A super-bowl calibre coach who has Tennessee roots and was a lights out recruiter in his time here?

Say what you want, but his resume in the NFL dwarfs guys like Saban and Carroll.

OK. When you are finding a new coach in a few years, don't cry. After all, you were all so right about Kiffin.

There is a reason people want lovie GONE. People who don't follow him won't know what that is.

While that may be true, if we hired Smith, we would be looking for a new coach again in a couple of years - as Lovie would probably bolt back to the NFL.

National championships from Nick Saban and Pete Carroll tell me I'll take the NFL rejects.

I know, right? The days of coaches staying in one place for 10 or 15 years are all but over.... If Lovie came here and actually DID what the former douchenozzle SAID he was going to do and then left after five or seven years I'd be OK with that. It'd be a more attractive job than if we were going 6-6 or 5-7 for the next decade with guys like Cutcliffe.....

This is the kind of retarded we've grown to expect from KY clowns. Nothing going on here has anything to do with the coaching our staff brought or the path we were on with them. Get your head out of your mascot uniform.

Don't worry about it Meeks, we'll still kick UK's teeth in every year. The streaks not going to die over this.

Ok then.... How about Carroll? Holtz? It's the same principle.... Just because you weren't the BOMB in the nfl doesn't disqualify you from being good at the collegiate level. Just like being good at the collegiate level can also be an indicator of excellence in the nfl, a la Jimmy Johnson...

Lovie is a bad choice. You should be glad you are not getting him. As far as kicking in THE greatest college basketball program of all times teeth, your point? Spygate?

You own us in football. We have more wins aganst UT than any school has on any team in the nation in basketball. But, the streak will probably end soon. It would have this year had Papa known how to call a proper play at the end of a game.
