6 Florida offensive players to transfer

Let's be realistic here. Barring having poisonous attitudes, have kids leave your program is not a good thing. They are the ones that know how to practice, how things work, what coach's expectations are. They can help usher in new, perhaps more talented, players. I don't care if they weren't the most highly recruited or utilized players, every team has to have every one pulling on the same rope. Every team needs rudys. Losing players like that speaks of splintered faith in the system and will lead to decreased depth. We have seen it here firsthand at Tennessee. The cupboards aren't bare yet at florida, but I would say that if uf fans are just shrugging off this news, then they could be in for hard times.

The word I'm hearing from my friends that are Gator fans is that there are more to come as well! I was told that it would be closer to about 10 very soon.:eek:lol:

I'm loving it! It may not be their best recruits, but I'm still hoping for that!

hope so
would love to see them go through the lack of depth/talent we had to.
DD and Muschamp are becoming one in the same.
Actually, it sounds like he's pulling a Kiffin. Trying to purge the roster of those he doesn't think will contribute much.

Problem with that is, Kiffin didn't have enough recruits to fill the depleted roster with He was running them off faster than he was bringing them in. Not good. That's what he did in the QB situation. I'm all for a coach trying to upgrade your talent. But not when you don't have anyone on hand to upgrade with.

He should have kept Boyd, took Cam Newton, and we'd be sitting in a much more favorable position these past 4yrs.

Muschamp is on borrowed time. Can't see him winning enough games next year to save his job. Probably still finds a way to beat the Vols though.

The way I see it is Tennesse finds a way to lose most of those games. :banghead2:

yea stockstill was bad....committed to Butch while he was at Cinnci, ended up at mtsu

Actually Butch did not offer Stockstill. Brent Stockstill was a Texas Tech lean offered by Tubberville. When Tubberville took the Cincinnati job, the first person he called was Stockstill.

Yep. And when Gunner Kiel transferred to Cincy, I think Brent saw the writing on the wall and decided to come home and play for his old man. Either way, he's the real deal. Heck of a QB.

Unless 2 of the players were the idiots that were blocking each other in the Georgia Southern Games, then it would probably be a good thing them leaving...
