5th hardest district in the nation?

I heard the other day that Rutherford County is the 5th hardest district in the country. I'm just wondering why people don't look here more often with the talent here... Just thought you guys would like to know that...

They're some really well coached teams. Not too many stand out players, it's just one of those tough, hard-nosed districts.

It's a tough district no doubt...but I don't think by any means that it produces top teams nationally.

It would be even better if the private schools would stop coming into Rutherford Co. and getting players.

J. Ramsey should be at LaVergne...

Ensworths starting RB this year is from Rutherford...

The kid (name escapes me) that will be a freshman next year for Riverdale may end up at Ensworth...

I've played in it and I can see why.
Too bad Lebanon moved out of the district. I miss those rivalries

Can't blame Ramsey for leaving LaVergne. That school has really gone downhill the last few years.

I think there are multiple factors that make Rutherford so tough. Alot of it has to do with the excellent coaches that district has. It's true that very few "elite" athletes come through there, but I think there are many players that are borderline SEC and ACC caliber players. The real question is why MTSU doesn't have a field day recruiting in Rutherford? They should be cleaning up.
