Hershel Walker is the greatest college football player I ever saw in person. Period. agree with @Lawrence Wright , Bo took himself out of several games with "injuries."

The next best I ever saw play, was Deion Sanders. He changed games from a position that isn't conducive to it.

I watched Bo stand on the sideline with a thigh bruise while UGA beat Auburn, Herschel dislocated his shoulder on the first play against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. He came out, had them pop his shoulder back in, then ran for 150 yards. No back had rushed for 100 against ND all season.
