Positives:
1. Eric Ainge- looked poised, sharp, and rock solid!
2. Arian Foster- looked like a man amongst boys in the open field...looked stronger and faster.
3. Receivers caught most passes......not prdicted by most.
4. Chris Brown- had a great game..USE HIM MORE PLEASE!
5. Eric Berry- Should be on the field every play....going to be a STAR!

Negatives:
1. Defense...No pressure, poor tackling, and looked lost at times. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT OR IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG YEAR!
2. Kick offs-----Is that all we have for kick -offs? I think I can find a high-schooler right now to hit it deeper!
3. Special team coverage- Looks as if we are going to be at the bottom in the nation again! Geeeeez!
4. Defensive schemes- too vanilla and not agressive enough. Come on Chavis, grow wome Kahunas and send the house occassionally.
5. Speed?...When did you ever think that we would get burnt that bad all night long on speed. Where is our speed merchants? If we have them, play them!

Game sumation-Cal is the real deal on offense....very puorous on defense! Has some world class speed at RB and WR. Tennessee- has an All American at QB with average WR's and a defense looks very bad right now. Vols special teams will cost them 1-2 ballgames this year!:eek:hmy:

one negative I have is, where are all those freshmen we have who are supposed to contribute? I don't think Gerald Jones ever saw the field and he's supposed to be one of our best playmakers... aren't you supposed to have your best playmakers on the field? That's definitely what Tedford did.

It's not an excuse, but had we been playing at home and gotten a TO for 6 on the first defensive series, our frosh would have seen more time.

We played O'neal and Vinson, and threw them the ball and NEITHER wanted to make a play. They tiptoed, it made me sick. 2 more fast kids, not football players.

Vinson should have caught that pass from Ainge. If it hits your hands you catch it. I learned that when I was 5. O'Neal didn't look real spectacular either. I was really impressed w/ Lucas Taylor. I've always had a bad taste in my mouth when he was on the field, but he definitely proved to me why he is wearing orange. Keep it up Taylor!
