i don't mean to be cynical but it seems like you're just making your predictions based on the volquest article about "thumbs up, thumbs down."

1. Montario Hardesty will run away with the starting runningback job by mid-season. (write this one down)

2. The d-line will continue to be punished by opposing teams trying to run the ball and we'll have 2 new starters at the end of the season, then what we'll have at the beginning of the season.

3. Our tight ends WILL NOT be as big a part of the offense as they're trying to make them out to bfe.

4. Austin Rogers MIGHT lead us in receiving this year.

5. Gerald Jones will be a Freshman All-American

6. Eric Berry will end up playing more WR than we think because we may need him to.

1 Injuries: Ainge-3 games, Hardesty-Hamstring all year, never does anything special, Xavier Mitchell-Something nagging that limits him, And at least two wide-outs.

2. Coker or Creer will go for 1,000. Foster will continue to be very average, with 600 yards at less than 4 YPC (but he will have more scores). Hardesty will suck.

3. Between Vinson and O'neal, only one will work out, the other will be a bust. Two recievers on the team will step up and be Ainge's go to guys, they won't be the ones that get hurt. The third guy will (maybe O'Neal, costing us our big deep threat).

4. SEC champs. Georgia will be awful, SC will have a great record, but too many SEC losses, Tennessee will beat Florida before their D can improve, thus giving them the nod in the East. LSU or Auburn will be the opponent, LSU being worse than advertised (out of the top ten for a few weeks) and Tennessee will win for once as the favorites in the game.

5. Sugar Bowl loss to...Louisville? (I'd love to say Hawaii, but they would never ever ever put them in the Sugar Bowl)

Nice to see VIA get more confident in the team as we go. its almost like a count down. From 3 to 2 to 1.

Cutcliffe gone? Why? To greener pastures as HC?

Loss in Sugar Bowl to Louisville? That's bold.

1. UT will lose 2 games all year.
2. O'Neal steps it up and is the #1 WR. Vinson struggles early but by Bama he gets things under control and becomes a solid #2 or #3 reciever.
3. UF struggles this season and the Vols win conviningly in the swamp. UF wins 8-9 games.
4. OL is much improved this year and has the "nasty" attitude.
5. Dan Williams, Walter Fisher, and Andre Mathis all step up and contribute this year.
There is a buy 5 get one free today.
6. Foster is average this year. Nothing special. Right around 4 YPC. Hardesty shows why he was #2 on the depth chart, ahead of Foster and Coker, before his knee injuries occured. Hardesty will average 5.2 YPC and be the leading rusher on the team. Coker comes back but never really makes an impact. Creer shows flashes of great things this season on limited carries and shows why a lot of people think that he is going to be a stud.

1, Lennon Creer will be tried at kick returner and everyone but our opponents will be very happy.

2. Chris Brown will be a 1st down beast this year motivated by Cottam's push for playing time.

3. The D-line will have us sitting back by the Georgia game sayin how could we not have known these guys were so awesome.

4. Tennessee will win the east, crushing the Gators by +27

5. Hefney approaches a leadership role to that of Al Wilson and demands team effort.

1. At least one announcer will call Erik Ainge "Danny"

2. Hardesty will be hurt off and on all year, bringing out another round of "wait till he gets healthy, he's a beast" talks that never actually happen

3. Mayo raises his play to Kevin Burnett levels, with Al Wilson levels to follow next year.

4. Ainge has a statistically worse year this year then last but goes no later then the 3rd round in the draft.

5. Foster runs for over 1000 yards but has a critical fumble that costs us a game.

1. Kenny O Neil learns to catch. After Vinson and the other young receivers catch on opponents secondaries begin playing back even more to defend the deep ball opening up the run game even more. Austin Rogers becomes the go-to guy on third downs. Chris Brown takes a back seat to Cottam.

2. One of our fresman backs have to play a significant amount of time due to injuries ot our top three.

3. Florida tanks this year without inexperienced defense as Meyers spread offense gets exposed. Georgia struggles, and so does Auburn.

4. Eric Berry is a freshman All American, and becomes Tennessee's first 2 time All-American in years.

5. Ainge stays healthy all Year and leads us to Atlanta and is drafted in the first round.

1) I said this a few months ago, but Florida will have a Zook-like season.

2) We win the East.

3) We lose to Cal or Sothern Miss by more than a touchdown

4) Kenny O'Neil neither busts nor excells and is a servicable WR at 3rd on the depth chart by mid-season.

5) The D keeps us in a game or two that offensive turnovers threaten to take us out of.

1) Creer gets major playing time after the UF game
2) We win a weak East Division due to having the correct losses
3) We get a rematch with Bammer in Atlanta
4) We beat Cal by more than 14
5) Ainge goes through a season and makes all the starts
