It's progress for a program that was at the was fighting to remain one of two teams in all of college football to have NEVER lost 8 games. At the of the conference with KY and Candy (losing to both). All of you were shoked that we even won 9 games last year. Now you complain about being 3-0 because didn't blow out App St and Ohio. You act like we've always been good. This program was avg since Neyland with a few good yrs in the 50's, 80's, late 90's and early 2000's. So get off your pre Madonna high horse and be grateful CBJ has turned the program around. If you complainers remember NO COACH WANTED THIS DUMPSTER FIRE OF A PROGRAM. Remeber also that its a game. You win and you lose. We've all lost before and will lose again. You sound like we're 0-3, let's get behind our team. There's hundreds of schools that would love to be 3-0. I know the 3 website beat sure would.

Nice trend and I commend Butch for stabilizing and improving the mess he was handed.

That said, his hiring of Debord was a monumental mistake and will probably might cost him his job.

I am there dude. I also believe this team was underperforming and now will need to overperform due to injuries. I think they can but there is little evidence they will.

This team has had approximately 300k people believing in them in person through 3 weeks. So there is that.

Thanks smoke blower, glad everything where you sit is unicorns and rainbows. See, the problem is that we're not very good and these next nine games, should we continue to play like this, you're going to see that first record you posted, come back. But anyway, don't mind that, just pretend everything is okey dokey and pretend that we didn't just score 30 or so points less than Texas State did, against these Bobcats.

By the way, that Texas State team, that beat these guys in Ohio, yeah, they're currently down 28-0 to Arkansas............in the 2nd Quarter.

That Appy State team, yeah, Miami beat them up and down the field.......in Boone.

And it's "primadonna" not "pre-Madonna", like before the singer.

Eh some are over the top. Most fans have trouble venting about underperforming without giving up the season. As long as we win more games than last year I am good. Ugly wins are still wins. I see that we are better late in games as opposed to early. A total flip from last year.

If Coach fired, then mass exodus of players, particularly all Jrs who have any chance of being drafted or free agent NFL plus all redshirting Freshmen ( QBs) and you go into a 4 year rebuild from scratch again.. Wait till seasons end, there are some dynamic offensive minds who could bolster vols immediately as an OC..

I agree, there are some dynamic minds that could help the offense. The problem is this offense is Butch's and he's not going to let it go.

You are delusional. It won't be like 2013. For one thing, we were 2-1 at this point in that season. For another, even though the next four games are tough, I don't expect to go 0-4, I believe we will at least split. Finally, don't get me started on our last five games. with the exception of Mizzou (and not by much) all those teams are likely worse than any of our first three opponents.

It won't. Say we go 8-4 or worse this year, Debord will be the scapegoat.

No, the delusional are the ones that keep saying, "3-0", like we just won it all. I'm a realist and if you look at who we have played and how we have played, I don't see how anyone that knows the game can be confident, from here on out.

We might win more games (although I have my doubts at this point) than last year, but that isn't good enough. We should be talking about playoffs right now. Instead, we have 0 reason to believe that we can even compete for a historically weak SEC East. If Butch can't win big this season, when will he be able to? His recruiting is already slipping. If he doesn't do the unexpected and pull 2-2 or better out of the next 4, we would be crazy to keep him, unless he is willing to hire a real O Coordinator and give up his input. JMO
