...and as far as UT goes a huge part of the fans drive up from the Nashville area. Therefore, I wouldn't expect as big of a number as it could be since most people aren't willing to drive 4 hours each way for a scrimmage.

I think I'm going. I'm taking my Dad and my fiance. Where exactly do I purchase tickets and what would be a safe time to arrive so I can get tickets, get autographs, enjoy all the festivities?

They reported around 40,000. I watched the replay last night on CSS Sports. Of course they had ESPN there for their game, so I am sure that raised the attendance. UT has already sold over 30,000 tickets and they are selling more at the ticket office today and tomorrow. The weather is going to be clear and in the mid 70's. I think we push 50,000.

Tickets the day of the event are being sold at Thompson-Boling Arena from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and at Gates 10 and 21 at Neyland Stadium beginning at noon. Will call will be available at Thompson-Boling Arena from 10 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and at Gate 21 after noon. Entrance gates are 2, 4, 6, 10, 21, 23 and 26. Free parking is available in the G-3, G-4 and G-5 parking lots off Lake Loudoun Avenue, the 11th Street Garage and the G-10 Garage off Neyland Drive.

Weather is gonna be perfect but I will be here in Bristol coaching a 11-12 year old baseball team @ 2 p.m. :cray:...I want to be there but can not but sounds like it will be one great time to be a Vol!...Scream loud for me and please refrain from Booing...Not needed...Can not wait till September!!!:rock:

I'm not sure how they came up with the number other than swak, but it appeared there were slightly over half of the seats filled.

so it was 51,000? Because i thought i heard 51 and another person i went with thought he heard 61 and then two other guys said they said 71, so i wasn't sure.
