I've made a couple posts like this one. Kenny Chandler among others. They always leave and then become mediocre to out of the league in a few years. Ament has a little boy body and now we're supposed to believe he will thrive in the NBA with players stronger than the ones who shut him down in the NCAA?

Idk if the basketball team works with the same strength and conditioning coaches, but an actual full year with Coach Owens would have that young man much better off and built to withstand the grind of the season and build of competitors.

Not comparing the player, but even Jordan said that when he started getting hacked by the Pistons, he decided to take up weight training and became the unstoppable monster we knew him to be...

Imho, it's much better to play for natties on a loaded team, than be shouldered with the load of being drafted high and be forced to display premature ineptitude on a national stage, while possibly struggling on a less than loaded roster. Jmo though.
