It actually might be worse for us. I thought it was great too until I saw the ACC standings. There's a chance Miami doesn't make the ACC title game. If they run the table and don't make that game they are a lock for the playoff, along with the ACC winner. We need SMU or Clemson to pick up a conference loss. SMU hosts BC, is at UVA and hosts Cal so they will be favored in all 3. Clemson only has 1 game left in conference, at Pitt. Surely SMU will drop 1, although there's a chance even that doesn't get Miami in the title game. We would have been better off having Miami run the table and win the ACC.
