They need to if they want to win the series. Home court with Rondo and Allen out. You have to take advantage of that.

I'm so mad, this game is listed on NBA TV; however, on NBA TV it is blacked out in my area for some reason (Murfreesboro, TN). it is also listed on Fox sports south, where they are currently showing boxing. The Celtics are my second love right behind the Vols and thats all i've been wanting to do all day is watch this game. Guess that isn't gonna happen. smh

It's on first row if you feel like watching it online. That's how I'm watching it. I have Chicago/Philly on my TV.

Atlanta up 44-41 at the half. Guessing they were hoping to be up by a little more

This is probably a dumb question, but if Boston is the 4 seed and Atlanta is the 5 why does Atlanta have homecourt advantage?

Atlanta has a better record. It didn't used to be that way but they changed it a few years back.

So really, the Celtics don't gain anything from being a higher seed than Atlanta in the 1st round. But if the 6th seed had a better record than Boston also, being the 4th seed saves Boston from playing the 1st seed in the 2nd round even though they have a worse record(They have a better record than the 6th seed, just a what if scenario)

Atlanta's bench has been terrible. Looks like the Pacers bench last game.

5 guys have played for 39 minutes off the bench

1/10 shooting for 6 points

6 rebounds

0 assists

0 steals

2 blocks

2 turnovers

That's so bad.

66-61 Atlanta at the end of three.

The Hawks are so paralyzed by the horrific Joe Johnson contract that they had to let Jamal Crawford go and all they could replace him with is the ghost of Tracy McGrady. This is a hollow, crappy team.

Jason Collins just fouled out with 8:25 left in the 4th.

That's no good.

All tied up 66-66.

If Chipper Jones' contract pisses you off, the mere mention of Joe Johnson ought to cause you to have a seizure.

He is the worst acquisition/player in Atlanta sports since I moved here 17 years ago. He's almost singlehandedly turned rooting for the Hawks into a joyless, leaden trudge. The contract is just the icing on the cake.

Really? Joe Johnson always plays awesome in the games I catch. His contract is really bad though.

Wow... talk about falling apart.

79-72 Boston with 3:30 to go.
