the article said all were rated 4* and 5* out of school but I cant remember hearing their names mentioned. Still boneheaded decisions on their part

The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has apparently confirmed that four Alabama football players have been arrested. All were 4- or 5-star players coming out of high school.

Tyler Hayes (second degree robbery), Dennis Pettway (second degree robbery), Eddie Williams (second degree robbery and fraudulent use of a credit card), and Brent Calloway (fraudulent use of a credit card) have all been busted and their mugshots revealed on jailbase.com.

A second degree robbery conviction in Alabama can carry a 20-year jail sentence.

another article from Bama Hammer

UPDATE 8:55 - Eddie Williams, a defensive back who was getting a
look at a wide receiver, was also charged on February 10 with carrying a pistol without a license.
It’s not known whether this charge
led to the other arrests. Four Alabama Crimson Tide
football players were arrested
Monday on charges of second
degree robbery. The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s
Office website notes that Eddie Williams, Dennis Pettway, Tyler
Hayes and Brent Calloway were
booked on charges of second
degree robbery and fraudulent use
of a credit card. We contacted the Tuscaloosa
County Sheriff’s Department and
they had no comment at the time. According to the Alabama Criminal Code, if convicted of second degree robbery, a
defendant can face a minimum of
2 years with a maximum of 20
years. If a weapon is involved, the
minimum goes to ten years. All four players are sophomores
who have seen action on the field
in 2012, and with the possible
exception of Calloway, were
expected to contribute in 2013.

Bama tryna make a run at the Fulmer Cup. The absolute best part of this story is Nick Saban got the news while on vacation. LOL. Hope it ruined his vacation.

Nothing to see here. They will just put 4 mor 4&5 star guys in their place. Its kinda like Bill Gates losing 5 million bucks. Not a big deal.

Let's see how this situation is handled. I'm willing to wager if a weapon was involved, there toast. If not, they'll get off with probation and probably stay on the team.

What is amazing is this is the second time in the last week that Eddie Williams has been arrested. Least he is consistent if nothing else.

Maybe the whole team is a part of this scandal!! If they are all put in prison, we may beat them next year!! I am sure this was all orchestrated by Nick Satan himself!!

saban will cut them easier for him to "make room" to get to his 85...and doesn't look so bad cause they broke a rule

My guess.....

The arresting officers will be put on administrative leave pending an investigation, later to be fired for unethical conduct and a public apology issued to Saban. The state will award him another national championship as compensation.

So, you finally get it. Resistance is futile. Now, don't you feel better?
