Will Alex Analzone olol sorry I couldn't pass that up.. Will him and Davis be an upgrade this year at containing and stopping Dobbs' run game? That's really the only way I see us winning is if Dobbs can run like he did last year against you all.

That's the # that will matter most. There will be many desperate teams going for it on 4th down just to have a chance.

More important stat: Wins vs Losses against an OOC opponent.

For one thing the sample is to small,the other thing is we played stiffer competition then most teams ranked above us.
the exception is some teams played T25 teams + one cupcake. Our 'D' should improve as the players learn and become more comfortable with CBS' system.

Stats after 2 games is meaningless.

Wait until 6 games have been played before reading anything into the numbers.

Virginia Tech converted its first 4 third down opportunities. There were also 2 other 3rd downs in those first 6 that they got 1st downs because of Tennessee penalties. So really, they converted all 6 3rd downs they faced in the 1st quarter.

For the remainder of the game, they went 2-9.

If we can shore up our 1st quarters, we'll soar up these rankings.
