For the first time ever, I played MLB 12 the Show in 3D. I was amazed at how well it was done so I decided to try NBA 2K as well, and again, I was blown away. Has anyone else tried 3D gaming and what do you think the future is for it? Just really curious as to what everyone else's thoughts were about it.

Ive blayed Black Ops and Killzone in 3d and I love it. I am kind of disappointed with the lack of gmaes with 3d though. With as advanced as the technology is getting and more and more people buying 3d, I would think they would have more titles.

Its a mixed bag for me. My fiance bought a 3d TV for my birthday back in january and I really enjoy the blue ray 3d...uncharted 3 was great, as is the show. I'm not a fan of fp shooters on it. Too much precise movement involved for it to work for me.

Personally, I think it's just a novelty at this point. Kind of like motion controlled stuff. I'm not saying they couldn't do something cool with it in the future though.

I've played the Black Ops 3D mode. Agree with previous poster, too much quick and precise movement happening for me to focus and enjoy it.

However, my 3D TV came with some downloadable PS3 games, a couple racing games and a "launch this guy into a cityscape and tear down as much stuff as you can before hitting the ground" -type of game. They were all 3 actually really cool in 3D.

It's still more gimmick to me than substance. I haven't played much 3D on the PS3 or 360, but I do own a 3DS. Resident Evil Revelations did it well enough I guess but it's not like it made the game tons better.
