I want to take you all back to a time.
1997. We were recruiting
Eric Locke out of Murfreesboro Riverdale
Teddy Gaines out Kingport DB
John Henderson Pearl- Cohn
Dickerson out of Melrose irrc…

But Teddy Gaines went to Tennessee and unfortunately was coached by Pat Washington. He still played in the NFL because he ran 4.3 and benches 225 - 17x at 185 lbs.

Teddy was an awesome prep DB/WR

Anderson is BETTER than him at the same stage…

Yup! I personally want to see him get a shot at WR, but this kid can run, and he’s 6’1” long arms and had pretty good instincts. I can understand the focus at CB.

This kid is way underrated IMO. Freakishly long arms makes for a huge catch radius and good speed. Can be a difference maker at Corner.

Kinda reminds me of Malik Foreman and devan swafford, NE Tennessee players who were by far the most athletic on the field

Was it Foreman who ran down the A&M player and caused a fumble through the end zone and Swafford who scored on the blocked punt in Neyland against Georgia? Or do I have them confused?

Gaines was coached by Larry Slade. Washington was the WR coach. Both were mediocre coaches.
