'26 IN DL Jerimy Finch (Tennessee)

From 5/21/25 piece on Indystar.com:

J.T. Whitaker has only been on the job as Warren Central football coach for less than five months. He has not coached a game yet. But it did not take long to understand the talent of his best returning player. “It’s almost like he was created in a lab to play football,” Whitaker said of defensive lineman Jerimy Finch Jr., also known as J.J. “He comes to school, gets his grades and shows up every day and works hard. He loves all things football. Obviously with his dad being an All-American and being a great here, that tradition has carried on.”

...Whichever school gets a commitment from Finch will be getting a great talent and relentless worker, Whitaker said. “You can tell it really matters to him,” Whitaker said. “He wants to carry on that legacy. His takeoff is amazing. I coached wide receivers for years and that was something I always kept an eye on. The first time I watched him come out of a stance and go, I was amazed. His takeoff is legit. He’s going to be a problem (as a senior) because he’s up to 260 now and really been working on his explosive lifts. I think you are going to see his best yet, for sure.”
