360 vs PS3 vs Wii

I voted PS3. Owned a 360 years ago and the piece of junk seemed to always have something wrong with it. So, when the time came for a new system, I got a PS3.

I almost never play video games. I use my PS3 primarily for watching DVDs.

I thought I would play games on it more, but then I came to the realization of how big a waste of time video games are. After a year my PS3 still works, which is more than I could say for the XBox I had.

Oh, and BTW, you're a jackass.

You're the jackass. Not our fault you can't manage your life with video games like everyone else can - and that you broke your xbox but blame it on the system. Nice investment on the $300 dvd player.

Yeah, I'm a jackass because I don't waste my life on video games. My Xbox continually showing the red rings and refusing to play discs is in no way my fault. Xbox is just a poorly made product.

Yeah - clearly you can't even take care of an xbox. Pretty sad. Certainly is your fault.

And who said anything about wasting your life on video games? It's a hobby just like any other time wasting hobby including watching sports. Sorry you can't manage your time properly.

Video games are no different than watching a movie or tv show in the sense that in the end they're both forms of entertainment. It's ignorant to think a particualar one is above the other, especially considering how far the gaming industry has come in recent years.

If you dont' like video games anymore, that's fine, but how are video games anymore of a waste of time than any other hobby or entertainment?

I could argue following sports is a WAY bigger waste of time than video games.

It's no different than any form of entertainment IMHO.

I find it funny when old school adults (i.e. 50+ usually) talk about video games like they are toys and how they are a waste of time, and most of the same adults are the same ones that obsess over what school some 18 year old is going to commit to and spend almost every free moment obessessing over sports teams.
