Verse from one of my favorite songs. Listened to a lot of Beatles/Lennon when I was probably in my mid teens and this explains exactly why. Now I can't remember the last time I put on a Beatles song.

There are plenty of pre-counterculture Beatles tunes I liked, and most of them weren't written by Paul.
