With all the hoopla about UT signing more than 30 recruits, I thought the following totals from the past 10 years might show that we’re certainly not the first to go down this path (now if we sign 40, I think that is groundbreaking! We could beat Ole Miss’s haul of 37 in 2009). I’d also forgotten that UT signed 32 recruits in 2007.

2013 Texas A&M (31), Georgia (33)
2012 Miami (33)
2011 USCw (30), USCe (32), Arky (30)
2010 Auburn (32), Washington (31)
2009 Arky (31), Ole Miss (37), S. Flor. (30)
2008 Bama (32), Miami (33), FSU (30), Minn. (30), Va. Tech (31), K. State (32), Ole Miss (31)
2007 UT (32), USCe (31), Auburn (30), Oregon State (35)
2006 FSU (31), Ole Miss (30), Texas Tech (34), Kent. (30), Oregon St. (33), Kansas St. (30), Kent. (30)
2005 Nebraska (30), Bama (32), W. Virg. (33)
2004 Mich. St. (31), Arky (32), Oregon St. (36), Syracuse (32)

Btw, Jones signed 29 at Cinci in 2012.

What was going on in Oregon State's program? 2004-36....2006-33....2007-35?

Yeah, that caught my eye too. It's one thing to have a big signing class every 3 or 4 years but you wonder how they stayed under the 85 limit...

Probably said, "Hey you guys are terrible....GET OUT!!!!" Then started over again :dunno:

Those were the reentry years for Riley...Erickson also was notorious even during his Miami years for going big on jucos...lots of roster spots the result

mike price? ex wsu coach, but what does he have to do with osu...their coach has been there forever

See, what happened was...my little brother came in and logged in using my password....and...uh....

No, I have no idea how Price got in there. I still haven’t forgiven the Chargers for dumping Riley and going with Schottenheimer.
