Coach Pruitt needs to be a realist at some point. He can show all kinds of statistics, videos, recruiting rankings, all kinds of things displaying how he has closed the gap with Kirby Smart and UGA.

The glaring realist which coaches must be in order to achieve success requires a hard look internally. There are different players this year pretty much across the board, we've changed coordinators, a few coaches, and improved in various areas except where it counts. And that is the scoreboard. For 3 years he has put football teams on the field that found a way to lose to Georgia in excess of two touchdowns while allowing them to score more than 40 points.

There are two major common denominators. One is JG at QB. The other is our head coach CJP. He needs to decide if this UT team is to progress one or both need to go. If he keeps JG out there against major competition from this point forward the team cannot succeed and they both need to go.

I'm not giving up on Pruitt by any means, but if he plays JG next week, I think that's very telling.

They recruit 5 stars and high 4 stars. We recruit 4 stars and high 3 stars. Talent difference in their front 7 on D + Chaney never tried to establish a running game. Played into their strength which is pass rush.
