Before they came to Knoxville and after...

Derek Dooley --- Lousiana Tech (17-20) 3 years
Tennessee (15-21) 3 years

Butch Jones ---Western Mich. (27-13) 3 years
--- Cincinatti (23-14) 3 years
--- Tennessee (21-17) 3 years

Using specific data, we probably need to go after someone with no less than 3 years coaching at one specific school.

Also notice how each of our previous coaches records got worse at their next job.

Who has the best 3 YEAR record?

Actually your logic is flawed. We should hire someone before they waste their 3 best years at some other school based on the data you presented.

You can't have accurate data if you only have 1-2 years from same school to go off of. 3 years is better because of more data consumed.

Lane Kiffin has a record of 7-6 at Tennessee.
he also has will have a record of 10-3 or 9-4 at FAU.

Willie Taggert will have a record of maybe 8-5 or 7-6 at Oregon.

Charlie Strong will have a record of maybe 10-2 or 9-3 at South Florida

Jeff Brohm will have a record of maybe 7-6 or 67 at Purdue.
