I don’t think that’s true. Thought I remembered seeing someone do a really deep analysis of this on here a couple years ago, and 5 stars still panned out more often. Why wouldn’t Bama just start recruiting 3 stars if they panned out more often

Both Josh Allen’s (Bills QB and Jaguars OLB) were 2* prospects and got drafted in the Top 10.

Pay attention to the OL. The 1st rounders from Northwestern and Va Tech got almost no attention coming out of HS.
