It'd be nice to welcome a recruit without some ass hat making a comment about him only being a 3 star.

I'm glad that he committed, but this staff has not shown the ability to coach kids up consistently?

We got a good look today at what to expect from 3 star recruits. We also got a good look at what effective coaching can do and what ineffective coaching can cause. I remind myself that Dooley outcoached Jones a few years back and the fact that our current coaching staff fails miserably at coaching up the recruits to a higher skill level. If Jones is the answer somebody is asking the wrong question. Jones is not nor will ever be a championship caliber coach. Get used to it.

Lol. Dooley v Butch argument shows a lack of intelligence on your part. You don't have to outcoach someone to win when you have vastly superior talent.

If your choices were Louisville, Rutgers, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Tennessee, Vandy or N.C. State, wouldn't anyone in their right mind choose U.T.??????
bUTch recruits 3* players and developes them to play. Jumper, Mosley

I am glad he is only a 3 star. Seems like the 5 stars we get do too much here! Maybe from feeling they are owed a starting job and don't want to work for it.

We have come so far from the S/it mess DD left. Its really only been 4 years ago. We get smoked by the #1 team with 2nd and 3rd string linemen. Come on man??!

HHhhahahaahhahhah! Meanwhile, numerous 4&5* players don't do much of anything. Good grief.

lol.so being 5* you dont get hurt but being a 3* you get injured?

I think what he's saying is injuries left us with three star caliber talent on the field.

I have to say, I can't disagree. It looked like a time warp to Dooley days.

What we witnessed today is why you need 4-5* recruits, not 3*

Yeah an JJ Watt was a 2 star. We need talent, the hell with stars . How many top ten classes has butch had? This is based on stars, many of our 4 stars have played like 2 stars should so far. Maybe we hadn't got the right 4 stars or they haven't been coached up, but I am over getting excited by the number of stars the recruits have.
Do something on the field to get me excited '
