I'll be happy to steal one game in Orlando.

Yeah, sorry to hear about the stuff going on in Orlando. SVG/Howard are fighting, Howard is injured, Howard will demand a trade next year etc. Orlando should just find the best value and toss him. I think the team will play really hard though since they not only know they're without him for the playoffs, but maybe next year as well. I expect the Magic to play really tough. I'm just hoping they don't make everything they toss up, night after night. Live by the 3, die by the 3. I'm hoping they only live for a night or so.

I'm not sure about believing in the Pacers. Sorry, Pearl.

I'm not 100% sold on this year's team yet either. I think they can take the Magic in Dwight Howard's absence, but after seeing the playoff version of the Heat today, I think they should brush the Pacers aside without too much trouble. Still, things look pretty good for the Pacers going forward from this year.

UGH! The Pacers showed tonight that they are officially a fraud for this season. What a pathetic performance in the final few minutes. The scary thing is I can't imagine Orlando playing that poorly again. Enjoy your cakewalk to the finals Miami.

Still, Indiana should continue to improve as they get a little older in the coming years, but they just weren't ready this season.

Pacers need to stay on track. I predicted they'd take it in 5, still possible. Let's go Pacers!

Pacers def got lucky with Dwight's injury. This series would still be over in 4 or 5 games though. Orlando would win though. I don't know how this doesn't show he is the MVP of the NBA at this moment.

I don't know about that. You're free to believe that but this is back to back games Orlando has been down 20. It would be a close series with Howard. Pacers led the Bulls in the 4th quarter 4 out of 5 games last year with about 5 minutes or less left in each game. They've added West, Hill, Barbosa and Amundson. They played awful in game 1.

97-74 Indy, final.

Pacers have looked a lot better in the 2nd half the last two games.

I don't care what the pacers did against the Bulls as that has no bearing on a Magic series. Magic were 3-1 against the Pacers in the regular season and their loss coming a day after Jameer gets confused by NO. Completely healthy the Orlando Magic has a better team than the Pacers. Added barbosa lol. JJ Redick has been schooling that fool all series.

0037, think you overestimated the Magic sans Howard.

Yeah it looks that way. They've kind of folded up shop in the second half of both of the last two games, which is kind of surprising to me. Even without Howard, there is A LOT of playoff experience on that team. The Pacers size is just a bad matchup for the Magic, and they haven't managed to duplicate their hot outside shooting that kept them in game 1.

I don't care what the Magic did against the Pacers in regular season. It has no bearing on a playoff series. Bulls swept the Heat 3-0 in the regular season last year and went up 1-0 on the Heat in the playoffs. Heat advanced 4-1. Regular season isn't the same as the playoffs, at all. Pistons beat the Magic 2-1 during the regular season. Does your logic still apply? It's not easy to get up every game during the regular season.

Coaches coach differently and players prepare differently in the playoffs because it's win or go home. Pacers had 7 bench players that averaged 12.5, 12.6, 12.9, 16.2, 21.8, 25.5 and 21.6 minutes per game during the regular season. Vogel isn't going to do that in the playoffs unless the Pacers keep getting up by 25.

By the way, you keep acting like Orlando is superior with Dwight. Magic were 33-21 with Howard. Pacers were 33-21 after 54 games. That would seem to indicate they're on a similar level with Howard. You do know that one of Orlando's wins was by 4 points, right? The difference between the series being 3-1 and 2-2 was 5 points. I wouldn't hang my hat on that as the end all to be all.

I really thinking you're undervaluing Indiana and overvaluing Orlando. Pacers did have wins over the Thunder, Lakers, Clippers, Heat, Bulls, Magic, Hawks, Celtics, Sixers, Knicks, Jazz, Rockets and Mavs. That's 13 of the NBA's 16 teams with winning records(not including Indy).

Regardless, no point in wondering what could have been with Howard. It's your opinion vs. mine and there is no way to prove who is right or wrong. If winning the regular season series 3-1 is good enough for you, so be it. I'll go ahead and concede that Orlando would have won in 4 or 5 with Howard since it means nothing.

I don't feel nearly as bad. Indy blew a nice lead today

Yeah, really close to choking. I think they were up about 17 with 7 minutes left? Ended up in OT. smh

Not gonna lie, the officiating was pretty weak though(no excuse since Orlando is without Howard). Magic were in the bonus with 9:30 left in the 2nd quarter. Is it 4 or 5 fouls for the bonus? Whatever it is, Pacers were called for 4 or 5 fouls in two and a half minutes to star the quarter. Pacers blew an 11 point lead and then a 17 point lead. That was way too close.

Pacers got bailed out by that late whistle. Nelson had his hand on the ball.

That was seriously brutal on the nerves. You think it should be locked up and then everything goes wrong for your team and right for the other team.

GG Orlando. That was crazy. It's too bad SVG and Howard can't get along because he's probably a top 3 player and maybe the most dominant(healthy) and SVG is a good coach imo. His teams battle and finds a way to compete despite being undersized.

Then it makes up for the other calls that favored Orlando.

How many times are teams in the bonus with 9:30 left in the quarter? Cause Orlando was when the Pacers were on the verge of completely blowing it open in the 2nd quarter.
