What do you believe were the 3 biggest plays of the game in terms of having the most negative impact. IMO, the 3 biggest were:

1) the early JG fumble on the blindside hit - it set the tone for the game
2) the inexplicable Pope fumble through the end zone - it was an absolute gut punch and BTW, it is an idiotic rule IMO
3) the fumble on the 2nd half kickoff - why even return it? any motivation coming out of halftime was lost on the next play (we thought we were playing flag football apparently)

What are your top negative impact plays?

If Pope holds on there is not doubt in my mind we would have won the game. Crowd would of been back in it and Franks would have folded like a cheap tent.

Pope fumble was definitely the most deflating play. Got to hang on to the ball. 1st and goal at the 2 is better than a TO every stinkin time. that’s 2 weeks in a row that has happened.

When that whole group, said "Lets Go", and ran out of that tunnel in between the band and cheerleaders.

All the poorly blocked plays by the Oline and waaay to many big plays by their offense.

If our lines dominated, we could have fumbled and give the ball away a couple more times and beat them.

Finally, Chryst more mature and better game manager. Senior better than Sophomore at game management and getting out of trouble.

geez, I'm torn between all the above and the rest of the turnovers...it just was an all out dismal display of not what to do...everywhere...it should be a good training film to be passed around the NCAA......but, as always...

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst was the offensive play calling. I went on record saying Florida would not be able to stack the box because Helton would mix up the offensive play calling. Helton did NOT get the offense in good situations. Actually by using the same pattern of runs he put the team in very very bad situations on 3rd down that was just not manageable. 3rd down play calling became predictable.

Hands down it was the onside kick after the field goal. Our defense forced a punt the only time Florida had a long field up to that point. They were put in impossible situations with the two turnovers early. It was a damn shame the scoreboard showed 14 points as well as the defense was playing. Kick it deep, and let the defense have a chance. Force a punt, and UT gets the ball with decent field position down 14-3. As it was, that play flipped the field. UF pinned us at the 2, and they get a safety. UF gets points and possession, and then they break a long one. What could have been 14-10 or 14-6 with the crowd energized and UT gaining success turned into 23-3 and UF dancing on the sideline. I love aggressive play calling, but that was a terrible time to call it. The play was there. If it works Pruitt is a genius. It would have been there in the 3rd quarter too. Let your team get their legs under them before you try that. JMO

There were many, but I agree with these 3. They not only were big plays, but emotional ones. Stole momentum from us and gave it to Florida.
