Unless we get the early big lead like Ole Miss did, I expect the beat up dogs put up a very good fight.

I don't expect Chubb to play either. But Sony is faster, so we must keep him bottled up.

Their Oline seems to have taken a step backwards; I thought most starter returned from last year except Theus.

Ole Miss exploited their secondary in a big way and their DL kept Eason throwing off his back foot or down on the turf.

UGA WRs dropped everything but their drawers last week; can't count on a total repeat of that but I sure wouldn't complain if it did happen.

We need to keep a balanced attack and have another good game from our WRs (4 quarters this time please!).

I read where their kicker has only one or two touchbacks out of about 38, so this could be a great day for Evan Berry.

And above all, don't take them for granted and if you need some motivation, remember cheap shot on Shy Tuttle, but don't get a silly penalty.

i gotta sneaky feeling that the GA game winds up being a shootout.

Like precision clockwork, Tennessee once again draws the 2 best from the SECwest to play, year in and year out.

i don't think ARK was the 2nd best west team last year, but i get your point.

you look at scheduling and while the stretch we're in now has been well documented, has anyone had a harder September than Ole Miss?

and there's no one out there contending for the SEC that would have to play either aTm or Bama likely twice to win the conference.

hell, if it was easy, everyone would do it.

let's just win the East and take our chances!

I worry about how much we will have in the tank after the two week road trip.

The Florida 2nd half performance proves we're much deeper at all positions than I anticipated. Guys who have been in the program for a year or two are stepping up, and a couple of these freshmen can play ball.

If Georgia is as week as many here suspect, a lot of our backups will get playing time early in the game. Barring injuries I expect the tank may be full when we go to Kyle.

Entirely possible we go 3-0.

If anybody watched the Arkansas aTm game, did you notice that the center for aTm was horrible at snapping the ball? He was all over the place and and were lobs.

As much as I would love to say we go 3 and 0 here... This team has not yet shown that they can play consistent ball. I do think that the second half of Florida is the team we will see from now on. However until that's shown... I think 2 and 1. Dropping 1 to Bama or Texas.

I think that if this team DOES play up to its full potential each and every quarter? They won't lose. The identity of team 120 is FIND A WAY TO WIN. We very well could go 3 and 0... Win the championship... Hit the playoff and win big. On the other hand... If the boys don't come to play? We will be lucky to win the East.

My thing is... Sure the defense played lights out in the second half. The offense really was already on fire in the first. We(we being the few hopefuls) were right. They didn't show their hand for our offense until Florida. They dropped some passes and killed drives. Killed scoring plays. The offense was moving.

I think we have potential for anything. Could go either way. All rests on execution and attitude.

I believe this 120 bunch has finally shown up for work. I'm thinking a sluggish start but 3 good quarters of football puts the Dawgs down Saturday. That gives Jones a week to focus on A&M. 3rd SEC game, the Vols are ready to play four quarters finally in a tough shootout that goes down to final minutes, but the depth that has emerged defensively carries the day. Following a close win, a confident but tired team returns home to Bama week.. OMG

If we go 1-2, Florida may be able to sneak into an SEC Championship. Their schedule is ridiculously easy. Toughest game is going to be at Arkansas

I think our expectations have just been so tapered by the start of this team... But really we fired on all cylinders for Florida... I really honestly believe that they were just so focused on that win. I said it in my very first post here.

"First time posting, long time reader here, and a lifelong Vol fan. Listen, it wasn't even a full week ago when so many of us had aspirations and hopes of this being a playoff team! They had an atrocious game. No doubt. There are so many reasons that have been said to death that could have atttributed to it. There are NO excuses, but I still have faith in our boys and coaches. This is the same team from last year. This is team that throttled NW with more time under their belts.

I have terrible battered Vol syndrome. I'm only 26 so I haven't exactly experienced our glory years despite being alive through the 90's I was too young to get to enjoy it despite remembering the family going crazy each Saturday and having a great time. I haven't had any real hope in a season since I have been old enough to love football. This team is still team 120!

This is still the first season that I am excited to be a vol fan with high hopes and FAITH in this team. All these negavols need to just chill and relax. We WILL throttle VT. This team still has all of the pieces we need to succeed and have an incredible if not historic season. Have some faith in what this team is. Believe in them. Just wait and see Saturday if we have anything to sweat. Team 120 is still the team we know they are. "

I stand by that. Every prediction I've made has come true. Including my feeling that we win in a big way against Florida. We go at minimum 2 and 1. At best 3 and 0...that will lead to the team going undefeated all season. Pipe dream maybe. But if we come out undefeated through this stretch? Our confidence and skills carries us the rest of the way.
