Well said, and that's the truth! Who would want to win more than anyone to prove everyone wrong and to be a thorn in Saban's side every year--only Kiffin and he CAN do it. Do you want a PC coach or a WINNING coach for TN? Yes men aren't going to get it done.

Obviously you MISSED the blocked kick that would have beaten Saban in Kiffin's FIRST (& only) year with the VOLS. Wasn't kiffin's fault the kick was blocked, he wasn't on the field playing. Let's see, what UT coach since then has come close? That would be NONE!

Lane can stand toe to toe with Saban, Jimbo Fisher, Smart, or Mullen. Trust me these coaches do not want to play against Kiffin. But, we will never see because old Fulmer will never allow the hire. Will Fulmer accepts at least 4 L's every year because you will never find anyone better to go head to head with these coaches. Believe that. If not, it will be a long, long, long time in winning the East or the SEC.

Fulmer's ego will not let him do it. Did you EVER hear Fulmer take responsibility for driving the program into the dirt before or after he was fired--no, that has never happened and never will.

Kiffin didn't take Fulmer's job, Fulmer squandered it, that's why he was fired. Kiffin just happens to be the guy UT hired to take the vacancy. Kiffin had nothing to do with Fulmer ruining the program.

And it was that kind of attitude that got him fired in 08. Well that and he got complacent when it came to recruiting.

I have no doubt that PF loves Tennessee, but Blackburn should be the AD.

Do you think Blackburn would hire Kiffin if he thought he were the best coach on the open market or would he hold a grudge against him like Fumler will?

Kiffin didn't take Fulmer's job, Fulmer was fired, but even if had, Fulmer should be the last person to ***** about someone taking another person's job.
