Airious Bailey - 247

Long, athletic 6'8" wing from my alma mater, Chattanooga Boyd-Buchanan

Has an offer. UOV'd to UT last weekend.

Other notable early offers include Auburn and Ole Miss.

Tennessee basketball spent the weekend hosting three recruits on visits, with 2022 four-star small forward Jett Howard taking an official visit to see the Vols, while 2023 combo guard George Washington III and 2024 and small forward Airious Bailey on unofficial visits.
Both Washington and Bailey were offered by Tennessee during their unofficial visits.
Washington, a 6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect out of Louisville, Ky., is a four-star prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He’s ranked No. 8 among combo guards and No. 2 overall in the state of Kentucky.
The 6-foot-8, 185-pound Bailey, out of Boyd-Buchanan High School in Chattanooga, has not yet been ranked as a 2024 prospect, but is considered to be one of the best in-state prospects in his class.
Washington now has offers from Louisville, Ohio State, Tennessee and Auburn while Bailey has offers from Auburn, Ole Miss, Murray State, Kennesaw State, Jacksonville and Tennessee.

Also he sometimes goes by the nickname “Ace” so if you see an article using that name instead, it’s him.

I don't know if it has been mentioned on here but he isn't in-state anymore. He transferred from Boyd to McEachen HS in Georgia

Yeah, I figured Boyd would have a tough time holding on to him. We very rarely get athletes of his caliber. I hope his move out of state doesn’t hurt UT’s chances of landing him too much.

I graduated from Boyd as well. My son played against Boyd in middle school varsity BB 2 weeks ago and the Boyd kid dunked EASILY. Kid looks 6'4" if not 6'5" and is muscular for 14 (I assume he is 14).
And McCallie has a 7th grader who is 6'4" with long arms who can drive and hit 3s. He has the build of someone who is going to get a lot taller. Someone to look out for.
