I know im not the only 24 fan out there. I havent seen any previews for this season. Does anyone know anything?

I heard something about 24 being the first casualty of the writer's strike. I'm not certain, but it sounds like this season may not air.

I used to be a huge fan but I had an epiphany and realized that every season is essentially the samething and I could only watch it so many times. It got old for me. The following would take place in each season: a coup in the whitehouse, a mole inside CTU which they of course will take down the wrong person the first time and mercilessly torture them, someone in the CTU hq will be personally involved in someone near where the terrorism is happening and make bad decissions due to it, someone will come into CTU and take over making things harder on everyone, the terrorist will have a personal vendetta against Jack since government agents are so famous, and so on.

24 is getting ridiculous. Just let it die already.

But you know Fox, being the sucky corporation that they are, just can't do that.

season 6 sucked, but 5 was awesome. i got on you tube the other day and looked it up, and there was a preview for the new season. CTU is gone, jack basically told an congressional commitee that he was a bad ass, didnt really get much from it though

24 was hoping to tape the season once the WGA strike ends, but then, Keifer will be in jail, so it might be awhile before that season ever airs.

Yeah, the repeated coup attempts in the WH and moles in CTU are lame. They're running out of rogue terrorist groups to write about. Although I guess they could get desperate and write about some rogue Chavez supporters or something. It's just recycled scripts over and over. It's come to the point where I can sit there and predict the next scene with 99% accuracy.

God help anyone who has to be transported by CTU. It is never a question of if the transport will be hit, but how. And, even that is usually pretty predictable.

Yeah. I feel sorry for the nameless CTU agents. All that weaponry and body armor and they get massacred like it was nothing.

Dave Berry is a fan of 24 and his blog has a group of people who post during the show very much like a game thread around here. Pretty funny reading.

i cant blame jack for drinking, i mean save the world from oblivion 6 times, i mean, season 7 would be a drinking and sex binge.

My understanding is that it will air this year, but the premiere date has been postponed indefinitely.
