24 Hour rule and my thoughts on the game

I think one more bad game out of Crompton......and its coming this week, lane will be forced to play Stephens. At this point, unless Stephens is just god awful it would make sense for him to take his lumps this year and get ready for next season. He is more than likely going to be our starter anyway, get him started early and maybe they could make a half decent QB out of him. Crompton is done here, he's had his nine lives now its time to move on.

I may be wrong but I see Lane withholding making a move until after we leave Gainesville. Throwing Stephens into the starting lineup against UF would probably be extremely detrimental. If he puts Stephens in the starting lineup and he goes down there and stinks it up... Then you are looking at the same situation as last year. Two QB's that have damaged psyche's.

I fully expect to see Crompton the whole game against UF barring injury. Nah, there is no reason to throw Stephens to the wolves down there. I agree with Lex.... i don't think Crompton is the QB going into the meat of our SEC schedule.

With the RB's we have and the defense playing the way it is... All we need from a QB to salvage a bowl-bound season is to just not do anything stupid much in the same way Rex Grossman did with the Bears.

Just be serviceable...

We're going to get beat by UF regardless of who plays Qb. Why was Crompton put in a situation where he was allowed to throw 3 picks? I know I'm not a football coach, but if we just lean on this defense for the rest of the year we are going to be in every game (not counting bama/uf/maybe ole miss). The coaches let him do too much yesterday
