Tennessee has got to get Ty Cobb in for a visit if they haven’t yet. Natural scorer from the state and I believe he is def. good enough to play SEC basketball.

At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound junior guard had led the Bees to a 30-5 record and a berth in the Class AAA state quarterfinals. Cobb averaged 29.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.8 steals through 35 games. A two-time Class AAA Mr. Basketball winner and the MVP of the 2025 Class AAA state tournament, Cobb shot an impressive 58 percent from the field and 42.5 from behind the arc to compile a true shooting percentage of 70.4 leading up to the postseason round of eight. He entered the state quarterfinals with 2,589 points in his prep career.

Jordan visited the Vols. He talks about Nashville being a Vols town. He's a top ten hs prospect nationally.

"It's Rocky Top, man. That orange you know, I mean it runs through Nashville, where I'm from. It's only a three hour drive to Knoxville. I mean it's all you see. It's all I've grown up around. It's home."

Unfortunately, one side of his family are Alabama football fans.

Would be great if his game was on par with another MJ.

He actually said he sees himself as a LeBron type, someone who's good at multiple things, he's 6'7", up from 6'4" a couple years ago. I've seen him as high as 6th overall.
Must be a pretty good player with the attention he’s getting.

I've heard he's pretty good, but have not been able to catch a game as he keeps transferring. He's been at 4 high schools in 3 years

Well, only because Malachi Jordan transferred out of state, but Cobb will have a good career at Liberty. Perfect Metheny replacement for them.
He is get a nice package from Liberty. Great opportunity to prove himself.

Just give me DJ Okoth in 2028 tbh. If you are getting a high schooler in today's climate, it needs to be A) a big, B) player elite at a role that can be worth big $ immediately, or C) more big depth

It will be important again to recruit high school after one-time transfer rule is back in place, but let them go to some random school and then pay them to leave until that rule is implemented.

I will say kinda interested in Davis Cochran at Brentwood. 6'9 forward that is a great shooter with good athleticism and movement ability. Needed to see some AAU production this summer and he was one of the best players in the Adidas circuit first weekend, including dropping 14 points and 7 rebounds vs Mokan. Starting to get a flood of mid major and bottom P4 offers now. Will need to see him play this winter

He certainly has that modern size+perimeter skill set that is intriguing. Good athleticism is probably the top end of how I would describe his athleticism. Solid might be more accurate. He needs to add lots of strength. I think his frame can handle it if he is a hard worker in the weight room and with his nutrition. I see him as a Belmont type player.
