She has a good ranking but the 2027 is not as top heavy as 2025 or 2026. There are Top 10-20 players in the 2027 class that would be more like in the 30s or 40s in the 2025 class.
Tennessee as one poster mentioned could have a shot if they take it. She’s not going to be a high level elite star player like Mia Pauldo. Does not have the pure talent and athleticism as Jaida Civil. Not close to Oliviyah Edwards in terms of a future All-American.
Could become a solid SEC player and three year starter though.

If a player is intenadated because his father played at a school he was to attend, he/she have to more confidence in his/her abilities. If they don.t, they are doomed to failure.

Better than coming to school where mother or father where the main part of championship SEC or national

Ayers top 4 in scoring… Jerzy going to South Carolina and Bjorn going to Texas… Ayers adds a taller player that is a proven scorer.

Kaleena Smith is the most exciting player in the country and most recently shut down New York with her performance…. She‘s an Elite guard that is the next Hannah H. from Notre Dame. She’s leaps and bounds better than Mia… just remember only Texas Tech and lower tier schools wanted Mia.

McKenna Wolicko could have been the Next great Lady Vol legend if they took a shot and called her. She is more skilled and more athletic than Edwards.

Ivanna is a bigger guard that can shoot 3’s and is ultra competitive.Winner of everything last summer/fall.

…schools like UConn, South Carolina, and Texas are getting players that make FIBA teams and excel.

Don’t forget I’ve seen them live Mia Pauldo & this player play against each other in person head to head.
You can’t tell one from the other. Sell that fake news on another platform I’m not buying it.

Oliviyah Edwards and this player you mentioned in the same sentence of her aren’t even on the same level.
Edwards is better. Better offensively. Better defensively. Better ball handler. Quicker. Better Vertical. Better shooter. A superior athlete. was Edwards on the USA team??? is Edwards mentioned for MaxPreps Player of the year??? Does ESPN/ McDonald’s writers write that Mckenna is aloof and doesn’t play hard and doesn’t compete against top talent.

Edwards played poorly in both seasons of OT Select. And Harpring carried Pauldo’s team the year before.

Smith dominated the OT Select and everything she has participated in.

Edwards had games of 2pta and 7 points in the Addidas circuit this year. Smith dominated!

Anyhow who I genuinely wanted next to Edwards were also Abii, Bjorn and Flemings. But shoulda, woulda coulda 🤷‍♀️

I’ll keep dumping actual facts in the recruiting threads. This 2027 recruiting class is not as good as the previous two and is projecting towards being overall as a hit or miss group of prospects as the 2022 recruiting class.
In no world is any post player as versatile or athletically gifted as Oliviyah Edwards in any of the previous two classes or the next two classes. Sarah Strong is a completely different type of player.
The younger Betts sister is the closest in terms of talent and athleticism there’s a video on YouTube where they went back and forth.
There’s a Top 10 2027 post player that Edwards dominated on a YouTube video.
Then there’s the video of her and SC 2026 Top 10 signee in Overtime Select where Edwards hit the elite step back jumper displaying Big Oh incredible versatility to win the Overtime Select Queen of the Court as just a sophomore 😂😂😂.
95% of all the different critics takes are comical at best. It got personal once she canceled the South Carolina and LSU visits🍊. Again, I never speak on players I haven’t seen live. These are facts.

It’s not only an opinion when it’s blatantly false. Big difference. The players that Oliviyah Edwards need next to her are already at Tennessee in the 2025 class, the potential returnees, along with Gabby Minus. The rest comes down to the transfer portal.

IVanna and Special K … along with some shooters is exactly what Lady Vols need. There is a reason why we lost out on Harpring… Ivanna can shoot and Special K can do everything…

we don’t need players/parents like we had with the murferreboro kid
