2027 Lady Vols Recruiting

Man the bump this morning is comical. Especially considering all the major recognition Mia Pauldo and the freshman class is receiving right now.
Carolyn Peck, a national championship winning coach raved about Mia and this elite freshmen class all night on national tv. It is really silly to act like all of these HS players suddenly are such a need when they aren’t. If they come great. If not move on.
The last thing Tennessee is about to do is try to outbid any team for a player in a position that is not better than Mia Pauldo.
Mia Pauldo has beat this player in HS head to head in Overtime Select.
Right now in college, if Mia Pauldo was taking 20 shots a game like certain players do on teams she could lead the SEC in scoring as a true freshman.
Oliviyah Edwards beat K. Smith head to head in a AAU game on YouTube for everyone to see.
The coaches don’t care if she has an adidas deal or not.
If she wants to come to TN she will.
They aren’t about to make no special deals or offers in recruiting a player.
Taking this rumor from that Twitter handle that is always wrong and running with it is hilarious.
And as mentioned the Lady Vols don’t have to worry about NIL.
Just like in 2025 when they signed the best HS class featuring three McDonald’s All-Americans and five Top 50 prospects while Texas was signing 1 HS player. Those 5 freshman have help lead the team to a pair of ranked wins over SEC foes.
This big donor fantasy at Texas is comical too. Tennessee has another Top 10 class heading to Knoxville featuring the #2 player in HS that picked Tennessee over SC, USC, and LSU. You really think NIL is an issue lol?
If the coaches at UT and the top players feel it’s a good fit they will come to Tennessee. Their NIL deals they get will be as good as any in the SEC. Making silly deals to appease fans won’t ever be the case though. It has to make sense.

We need guards every year... What is Mia has a injury or God forbid transfers. You make out like every poster is wanting to replace every player. Can't you see past the end of your nose ? We always need big players also just like last night with Barker being out we didn't have enough to rebound , could have cost us the game. And you don't win games because you have McDonald's AA by your name ie Wolfenbarger we have players better than her that wasn't McAAs.

😂😂😂😂 you just throw ____ to the wall. 6-0🍊. I trust in the coaches. They don’t need help recruiting that’s for certain.

Weather you like it or not we're all going to recruit for her 🤨 that is except for you. You would run out of players in 2 years and still be laughing at yourself.

Any two that are left would be fine with me considering we already hopefully keep all five from this season and have two coming in next season. Some of these are longer viable hope that the person that publishes the list will go ahead and take them off. That would be Chastain, Long, and Ayers. Unless something terrible happens to us in the portal I expect the recruits from this class to be small two no more than three. A lot will depend what type players we go after in the portal seniors or underclassmen.

Omitted the ones not interested in Tennessee, but in terms of realistic recruits to get Jada Jackson, Jordan Speller, De'Andra Minor and Kie'Aubdria Acree would be fantastics gets for our Lady Vols. I've seen videos on all 4 and they would fit well in Caldwell system of play. The athleticism, ability to score and the grit they would bring on defense would go crazy!

every year I wonder the same thing "what is on the recruitment board for the LVs (eight months before signing) ? board members will post and IMP repost redundant opinions by the hundreds with no real knowledge YET of the team's recruitment focus. this is Rip Van winkle time to sleep until mid-summer, season over, level of success in 2025-6 known.

The Players that Lady Vols really really need is 1 Kaleena Smith and 2 Ivanna Manyacka*. TOP Tier

2nd Tier
Sydney Savoury and Nation Williams and Haylen Ayers

3rd Tier is everyone but Finley

Finley is no Tier.

I love the recruiting scenario…. I used to make lists and read about all of the players we were interested in ! But with this group of coaches … you are lucky for a list and whoever we get will be a surprise? But the surprises just keep on coming and I’ve yet to be disappointed!
Looking forward to what’s next…🤔

And? Let her go there.
