Do it or time for another coaching search fans already annoyed Danny promised results year three delivery is due at least at a better rate than the first two.

Fairly sure Smith is going to be looking for Chavez money. The only player I would be willing to pay that amount of money to would be a big bruising inside dominating player that can also shoot the three and I think that is what we did. Were going to win the portal in April or probably need to get ready for another coaching search. She absolutely must have at least two three tier dominating scorers and a post that can help dominate and help Edwards along in the early season.

I think Kim & Gabe need to help each other when it comes to portal this spring. They know now, at least I hope, don't get any player to be a Lady Vol. Yea we need talent but get some glue. Yes! What has kept Janiah from being great is she and whoever trains her in the off-season thinks she's great now. She has flashes but she'd be a solid a 20 and 10 if she didn't play wild, play better defense and be opened to being coached.

She is strong and agile enough to finish at the rim when she goes with effort. She doesn't like contact and so sometimes just flings it at the goal to avoid it.

I guess that realistically you can throw enough money at players, but a lot of posters on here don’t want “bag chasers.” You’d need to find a lot of mythical players who don’t care about the money, have great skills, and want to play in a system for a coach that has been blown out quite a few times this season. According to sources elite 6’4 F Oliviyah Edwards caused caught a good stir with her video featuring Coach Lazo at a recruiting visit by suggesting opposing folks trying to convince her to de-commit from only 1 or 2 historic WBB programs in the country Tennessee. Tennessee and UConn are the only two elite WBB programs.
If it took a program 30 to 40 years before they ever won a national championship that program is not elite. The amazing thing about this is now no. 2 Oliviyah Edwards and arguably the best player in two - three years out of HS and the LV coaching staff seem to really know who the haters were (hint: Tiger fans, Gamecock fans, Texas ain’t even have a chance lol 1986).
Tennessee will sign the #1 transfer portal class again. Make no mistake about it and are bringing in another elite HS recruiting class.

I think the end result will be what they actually see and how they fit in the system. If we say make the sweet sixteen or suddenly find something that works and make the elite 8 then probably players will look at that more that something than all that happened during the regular season. Of course only time will tell going to be huge were losing a lot need a lot an interesting month of April this year. Really need a huge run in the NCAA tourney and of course finish the season very well that makes other things go away most of the time.

Knox, I sure hope you are right...the past 2 yrs of recruits has been topnotch...transfer portal class could be much better, if Nya's shooting was on this year [but there is still time]...Go LVFL

Much as anyone might be tempted, tonight is definitely not the night for an LV hate watch. Way too much further damage to the season if for some ungodly reason this game gets away. Seriously, that would be wheels off the bus time.

Fortunately I still don't think that's going to happen, even without Sparkplug Mia. LVs too big, too physical, and too quick for MO.

But God help us Sunday if she's still out.

I agree LVs are too big, too physical, and too quick for Mizzou. Look for the LVs to win big this game by a large margin. I also believe Sunday's game against TX will be competitive. GBO.

USC is going to pay Juju, Jazzy and Saniyah Hall, why don’t we have the money to pay multiple top players? If we are only able to afford 1 player, we won’t be wining anything anytime soon.

Evidently USC has more backup booster NIL money than we do. I doubt were ever going to have 1.5 million for one woman basketball player unless Adidas pays most of it. I think we probably got the settlement money and with other money about 2 million all together. So evidently unlike Oklahoma, Texas, and USC were never going to be able to pay these players ever increasing demands. I wish we had one booster that was into womens basketball. Most are football and mens basketball and baseball. There was a poster that said South Carolina had more NIL money than we do. I don't know how that could be true, but he said we were in the top ten but below them.
Made a lot of people mad thinking the Lady Vols were getting more than baseball. Hopefully Tony Vitello himself cleared that up. If White wants us to win now in this new world of college athletics were going to need to be the top bidder for a couple of star players. Either portal or high school. We got a great base group next season need to add some super scorers and we would be ready.

A lot of that comes from the early season they have been pushing her up over 30 in a lot of the recent games. When she plays over 30 she needs to go for 20 and 10. She has been the only transfer worth talking about and from here on in she needs to go over 30 and give us 20 and 10 on about 12 shots attempts. She also needs to play a lot better defense along with everyone else on this team.

You’re right, there’s always a chance a player is ranked low, but comes in and gives big time production, some players can be underrated.

We got 5 scholarships maybe more with transfers. What do we need to fill this roster. I say two three tier scorers that are combo guards that have been consistent 35 percent three point shooters. Two strong versatile inside players with some bulk that have a history as strong rebounders and inside scorers.

A more traditional system and less subbing.
