Arion Carter as the best player on a Vol football team would be on the very low end of best players on the Vol football team from any year.

I didn’t trash him. He is not a bad player. If he is the best we have to offer on the entire team though, it is not a great sign.

Also they run 40-60 more plays per game these days than we did in the 90s. Some of you have absolutely no sense of context, like those who desperately tried arguing Nico looked better than Peyton Manning.

But it’s true, Peyton isn’t a handsome fella. Great player of course.

They also pass the ball more now, so the secondary has more tackles. As far as the manning vs nico comment I said nothing of the sort, poor attempt at a strawman.

Carter has the highest upside on our defense. That is why he is on the cover.
