SCORING
Ten points are awarded to each player on the winning team of a foursomes or fourball match; five points are awarded to each player in a halved foursomes or fourball match.
Players on the winning team in foursomes and fourball matches are also awarded points for the margin of victory. For example, a win by 3&1 or 3&2 would both result in three bonus points, while a 5&3 or 5&4 victory would earn five bonus points. No points are deducted for players on the losing team.
All points above are doubled for the Sunday's singles matches, so a player winning his singles match 4&2 would receive a total of 28 points: 20 points for winning and eight points for the four-hole victory margin.
TIEBREAKERS
#1 - US - European Point Differential (this would be a negative number if you believe the European team will win)
#2 - Points earned by Rory McIlroy (using the actual Ryder Cup scoring; not the scoring here)
#3 - Points earned by Xander Schauffele (using the actual Ryder Cup scoring; not the scoring here)
