Safe to say this transfer cycle (and thread) is wrapped up?

My Final Transfer Grade: B+

Most positions of need filled with quality players. Biggest wins: AC back, multiple starters from PSU defense with experience in Knowles system, Quality and Depth in the defensive backfield.

Docked points for not getting a starting QB and not more than one player at DT/DE (will be closely watching this during the season, RG development of current guys could make or break the season). If JA wins another season of eligibility, upgrade this to an A-. If he doesn’t, GMac needs an offseason of incredible growth (in the weight room, in the film room, as a leader).

Okay, you make some decent points. Maybe they are top ten historically - I am not entirely convinced but thats just my opinion . We can throw in and out factors and variables all day long. Crazy that we are having this conversation over a team that just went 8-5 and lost in Illinois. Anyways, have a great day and lets bring it back to the transfer portal...

nope, don't think I did. I am not a member of the Tennessee Volunteers Football Team, present or past - therefore 'they', not 'we'. I am a fan and graduate of the university. Nice try though! 'We' might actually be incorrect, technically, but really who gives a crap.

Is that what Indiana did? Is that what Miami did?
Name the programs in the last 4 years who finished top 10 in high school recruiting and portal recruiting in the same seasons.

I think we could drop down to 15-18 hs recruits, as long as their average is above 93, and be in a good position to win a lot. We'd need portal to also be top 5 for that to work.

We just need good players and coaches who can scout and coach (teach motivate)
Period.

All of this crap about recruiting rankings is just that.

Feel the needs on your team with guys that have the needed characteristics and athletic skillset.

Also thinking Jeremias Heard is moved to DT... most of his ratings listed him as DL outta HS & he was a top 100 DL prospect.

I'm just guessing his size is why they tried him at OT.
