#2 he's in the mix (talent and ranking) with our current group. He had nearly an identical ranking to Duane - meaning he knows he isn't #1 and will be competing like the rest. Competition is good

#3 he's bigger 200+ and still fast 4.4

#4 he's healthy - not coming off injury
Ran 3x for 18 in their bowl

#5 I trust whoever coaches pick - Simms has been solid AF.

CJ Bailey at NC State would be one I’d strongly consider “walking” in the portal. He fits the scheme perfectly with a live arm, and pretty good athleticism. He still has 2 years left to play so the hope would be he has such a great Junior year, he declares for the draft. This is all a moot point if we land Leavitt obviously, but I’d try to steal a guy before I’d sink so low as to bring in Pribula lol.

I know exactly what crap officiating looks like. It looks like every single college football game I have ever seen. I, unlike you and others, just refuse to CONSTANTLY use it as an excuse every time we get out played and lose.

It’s not an excuse to point it out. No team got shafted by officiating worse than Auburn this year for example. I never use it as an excuse to why we lose a game, but yes I with 100% bitch about it when it heavily impacts a game. It would be dumb not to. Until officals actually have accountability the sport will confine to suffer. So I will point it out every single time whether it happens to us, Auburn, or even Bama (but I will laugh about it then obviously). I do a crap job, I get fired or suspended ect. Same with you. Officals should be no different.
