Maybe the better question would be "If you're a foreign national that did not enter the country under any of the 'normal' avenues of ingress what degree of vetting is required of you to board a plane?".Do you think you might be a little gullible? Do you actually believe that if you show up to the airport for your flight, you can just announce you're an illegal immigrant and bypass security and get on the plane without telling anyone who you are?
Here's something I found. ID requirements don't appear to be "nothing" but it's certainly not much.A passport. I'd really like to see an example of someone with insufficient ID getting past TSA.
Well that is irritating. Here's something I found. ID requirements don't appear to be "nothing" but it's certainly not much.

US travelers outraged by airport signs appearing to allow migrants onto flights without ID: ‘I’m quite offended’
US citizens travelling domestically have to show a valid identification card or a passport to board a plane, but signs at certain airports say there are different rules for some migrantsnypost.com
Yeah, the article still indicates they have to provide ID, even if it tries to distract you with the title. Here's something I found. ID requirements don't appear to be "nothing" but it's certainly not much.

I'm not 100% sure how to reconcile "preferential" treatment with the "provide ID". Did you read the whole article? As I said before the claim of no ID required doesn't appear to hold up but it's a low and even pretty sketchy bar.Yeah, the article still indicates they have to provide ID, even if it tries to distract you with the title.
It’s just not the ID citizens use (presumably because they don’t have it). They are in no way receiving preferential treatment.
"Preferential treatment" was quoted by someone in the article and was clearly implied by the tweet on the previous page.I'm not 100% sure how to reconcile "preferential" treatment with the "provide ID". Illegal Aliens at Airport TSA. Bizarro World here.

Yep, and the ID they are providing is about as useful as the "extra" one I had as a 16 YO. The app they are using doesn't guarantee that the name and information provided at the border is actually who and what they are.Yeah, the article still indicates they have to provide ID, even if it tries to distract you with the title.

Define "normal avenues of ingress". I'd say that walking across the southern border is the most common avenue of ingress under Biden.Maybe the better question would be "If you're a foreign national that did not enter the country under any of the 'normal' avenues of ingress what degree of vetting is required of you to board a plane?".
