A lot changes in a week.
Last week I had half the board saying AR was gonna win the Heisman, no one could come close to Bama, and a bunch of jokers saying they'd be happy with 7-5.
Here is how our upcoming opponents did (minus the cupcakes) in week 2:
Florida (1-1): Lost to UK. Last week, I said contain AR's running and you stop florida's offense. Delusional gator fans and the gator loving vol 'fans' on this site were quick to defend him as Cam and Jesus mixed into one. Well, AR had to give back the Heisman after a week. Glimpses of good play from the gators, but then stretches of bad play. They're really just a group of good athletes on the field, but not a football team. Vols can win this one at home.
LSU (1-1): Beat Southern. Nothing learned from playing FCS. I'll be shocked if we don't win this one. Same culture issues exist.
Alabama (2-0): Beat Texas. We all saw the juggernaut struggle. Not the typical Bama team. Not physical. Not strong on the lines. DB play was lacking. Undisciplined. WRs don't get separation. This is the best chance for us to make a huge statement. Win this one at home and UT is back. Young doesn't respond well to pressure. It would also be nice to have Henry To'overated crying in the visitor's locker room. We'll still need an inspired performance to pull this upset off.
Kentucky (2-0): Beat Florida. Good performance. Glad this one is at Neyland. Not sure what their D will look like against a qb who can throw. Stoops can obviously coach a defense. Not sure about special teams. Can their O keep up with ours?
Georgia (2-0): Beat Samford. Nothing learned from playing a cupcake.
Missouri (1-1): Lost to K-State. They looked bad. Heup can name the score.
South Carolina (1-1): Lost to the Fighting Pittmans. They started bad but then looked better against Arkansas. Rattler looked better than last week. It'll be interesting to see how they play against uga next week. I still think Heup can name the score here, too.
Candy (2-1): Lost to Wake Forest. Wake is better than year's past. Vandy is better, but they still suck and are gonna get smoked by us. Get used to the Vandy win total staying at 2.
Great win today by the Vols! 10-2 is definitely reasonable this year!
