Will be a better season than 2020. Pruitt was a good recruiter and were losing a lot of players. Be patient as we don’t have another choice. Today the future looks bleak, it hurts and it’s embarrassing. We have to get rid of the factions within our program and just play ball.

Tennessee will be struggling to get a winning record for the next 4 years i believe. The NCAA punishments will make for a pretty bare cupboard.

I think the team will be better. Already feel CJH is going to be a better leader than CJP was. I was torn when he was officially announced, but after his press conference I felt a lot better about the change. We all know he has one hell of a mess to clean up.

I’d like to see us drum up 7 wins but I also know what shape the program is in.

I’m in this 4-5 win column (not trying to be negative) just trying to be realistic.

We play several defenses that are comprised with an entirely different class of athlete than what is on the teams on a normal UCF schedule.

there needs to be a HUGE shift in personnel on the field away from Pruitt's system to Heupel's system. Never minds all the transfers and sanctions and recruits defecting.

I wouldnt expect more than 5 wins in any of the next 3 seasons.

Throwing shade on a UCF team that still hung 32 points on an LSU defense in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl. Look at our beloved Vols, top-tier recruiting in the grand scheme of the NCAA, and yet still sucks balls. There are over 1 million high school football players, for the sake of argument, let's say 250K of those are seniors. Do you honestly think all those players are evaluated or have star rankings by their name? Recruiting is very subjective, would you classify New Jersey Highschool Football on par with Georgia high school football? This is why I feel recruiting isn't the end all be all. I am not saying recruiting doesn't matter, it does to an extent. However, for me, it is about player development and the ability to identify raw talent.

I am with you on the "star" system. It cannot be accurate.
However no coach can "develop" athleticism or speed to a higher level than what the Good Lord gave the player. As with most team sports, the teams with with best players usually wins.
Some of us are Jimmy and Joe's.
Some of us are X and O's.
Both, and a whole lot more, is required for a top level program.

Agreed. The cupboard is already pretty bare with the mass exodus of players. 5-7 next year would be a good start given all that stands in the way of even minor success.
