Agreed on every single point. He is, by everything I can see, elite. If he had more time as a HC, he’d be considered top 3-5 coaches in the country. In a long, long baseball season, I can’t recall a single “bad baseball” decision he’s made. Not one. I’ve seen calls/decisions not work out or perhaps sub-optimally, but not one “bad baseball” moment. That is rare for a season 60+games long for such a new head coach. I don’t think it’s luck either.

I love it! Very well deserved for coach V.
So on another site, I was trying to be gracious and humble(like vol66 has taught us) and was congratulating hog fans about DVH winning SECCOY and told them not to be surprised if Vitello won national COY and they immediately turned nasty and all called me crazy. Well guess what Hog fans, have fun with your SEC title and your SEC COY because we’re playing for the BIG hardware and the NATIONAL COY is leading us!!

I agree but is it too early to jump on the football model and demand a new 3rd base coach?
That guy caused us to get 2 outs this season on base running errors!
Fahr the 3rd base coach!

Sorry, but they don't know crap. I wish they did, but his future is yet to be decided. I'm not thrilled either, but he will be in demand. Just hope he loves it here enough to stay. Go Vols

Fair, but I’ll trust that CTV adequately handed his ass to him so as not to experience such nonsense going forward.
