2020 NBA Playoffs Thread: Bio-Dome Edition

I'll be disappointed if this isn't one of the best playoffs ever. We've got 6 good 1st rd matchups. We've got 4 teams (LAL, LAC, Bucks, Raptors) that would be contenders any season, but with the weirdness of the bubble, it wouldn't be too crazy to see C's, Nuggets, Rockets, and maybe even the Mavs or 76ers (they'll need some luck, like Simmons coming back quick) in the finals.

Mentions the Mavs who can't close out a game to save their lives and not OKC, damn hater.

OKC is awesome and is a better "team" than Dallas and might be the favorite in a series between them, but Dallas has two unicorns. If either of them is making a finals run, it's the team with the higher ceiling.

The playoffs are generally tight games, I'll take the best team in the clutch over what I'm guessing is a bottom 3 clutch team in the playoffs. Dallas can't score or stop anybody when it matters, OKC can do both.

I’m shocked the NBA hasn’t expanded to Seattle and Las Vegas yet. Seattle deserves a team

Lakers over Portland in 6, Dame steals 1 and CJ/Trent/Nurk steal 1

Clippers over Dallas in 5. Playoff P loses one

OKC over Houston in 6 or 7 depends on if Russ misses 2 or more games. Houston has the smallest margin of error for any "contender" The big 2 have to dominate while 3 of the others hit a bunch of 3's. OKC has 5 good defenders (yes Dennis became a good defender when nobody was looking) to throw JH and Russ, plus the Harden stopper sitting on the bench. Adams smash...Maybe next year Russ, maybe next year.

Denver over Utah in 5. too much fire power for Utah to match and God hates racists.

Bucks with a broom over, nobody cares go home or stay where you are I guess.

Toronto over Nets in 5. Enjoy your 5 games of freedom Caris and Jarrett before the 2 weirdos ruin your fun and my viewing pleasure next year.

Miami over Indy in...who knows cause Indy can't stay healthy for 5 seconds. Full power this series would be the second best series in the first round.

Boston over Philly in 7...I mean 6 cause Embiid probably got hurt in game 3 or 4.

It is funny that I poked fun at CP3 inevitably getting hurt and Russ is the one missing at least the start of the playoffs.

All I know is that if we don't try to get Jokic on a high switch with Mitchell every possession, I'm gonna lose my mind. We'll probably shoot for 1/10 trips down the floor.

Yeah that's definitely the weakest spot for them, and they rotate to open shooters pretty slow. Denver's D as a whole is weaker this year, they really miss Beasley. And as much as I love Grant he's a good on ball defender and rim protector, but his rotations can be horrible. It was the 1 gripe I had with him in OKC last year.
