2019 NBA Draft Thread

What's a two-way deal?

You can be shipped between the G-League and the NBA. A player can spend 45 days on the team before he’s either signed for the rest of the year or he’s back in the G League for the rest of the year. It also means that it doesn’t count against your cap

$200k if you play all 45 NBA eligible games - another $70k for the G league games.

I’d say he made the right choice.

Thoughts on the draft:

Hawks and Pels cleaned up
Spurs, Blazers, Bulls, Grizz, and Lakers made the most of their draft selections
I like the variety and chances the Celtics are taking
Cavs took my least favorite projected early round pick and my favorite projected late round pick
Suns didn't need the 11 pick to get CJ, but if TJ works out, he's the perfect type guard next to Booker
Wizards are going to stay their ass the Wizards
I hated the Warriors picks (no idea on the Euro)

The Jazz had three late 2nd round picks, all upperclassmen from small schools who had big stats. Hopefully one or two of them can immediately give us decent bench minutes.

Simmons was razzing House (Wizards fan) that their 2nd pick (Schofield) was better than their 1st

It is curious that he only played 18 mpg, but he was a monster per minute and he was just a freshman in the ACC. Shooting is a concern, but he showed enough potential to be picked in the lottery
I know. It's not that he sucked, but if you're that "talented" you would probably be as good or better than those seniors. IMO, JMO, TIFWIW

Lakers never met Horton-Tucker and they still drafted the Clutch client. I really like the pick though. He has a lot of weird potential
