2018-2019 NBA Season Predictions: Huff>>>Ben edition

Do not take the Grizzlies over. The only good I saw this preseason was JJJ (who has foul trouble issues) and Parsons playing more quality minutes.

I believe Conley will still be Conley, but there is always injury concern with him. Gasol's skills are fading, and he is still a PG trapped in a center's body. Team still can't shoot the 3 reliably.

I really believe the Hornets are going to hit that over at 35.5. They’ve been very disappointing the last two years and still won 36 both times.

New coach, more pacey system, more additions than subtraction, sans the Dwightbola virus.

Seems like a lock.

The roster is really bland but it's pretty deep. You have like 8+ guys who can play solid ball.

Someone knock me off my Pistons high I’m starting to think they can 45 games

Yeah, they’re not a contender by any stretch and will have to fight like hell for a playoff spot but I don’t think they’re any worse record-wise than they have been the last two years and that is what Vegas is giving you.

Dwight Howard teams have hit the under 6 of the last 7 years and the only year they didn't was in Houston when he missed half the season. You definitely helped your chances of hitting over by offloading him.

No doubt. And I don’t remember the exact metrics but the Hornets are like a 48 win team with Zeller and Kemba on the floor so the more minutes Cody gets the better. Hernangomez behind him is a sneaky good player as well.

The Pistons suck. Reggie is a poor man's German Rondo, Kennard is too white, Blake might play 60 games, Bullock has stupid hair, Leuer will miss every other game, Ellenson is too unattractive to be good, Stanley Johnson is a bum, and no team with 5+ white guys have won a championship since 1912 and you have 5 1/2.

I said don't take the over. Grizzlies pushed - lol.

I'm not going to bet on any of these, because I'm not really a gambler, but does anybody know if you can do these bets mid-season? I think I might want to try a strategy....wait until players who I think their team contribution is overrated to get injured, and when Vegas overreacts, I take the over. For example, Embiid. I believe that Simmons can win a lot of games without Embiid.

You went 3-4-1. So hard to predict player rest practices and tanking into this equation in October. And, of course, injuries.

Rockets injuries. Mitchell was awful the first half, and I still got that one right. Lakers injuries killed me. Mavericks wrong. Grizzlies push. Cavs so wrong. Knicks dead on. Kings dead on.

I didn't account for the lottery odds changing, which is why I think Dallas tanked more this year than normal.
