Guys, welcome to the 13th annual weekly pick contest, which will last the entire season and consist of 13 weekly entries.

Each week I will select 10 games from around college football, which will be posted on Sunday (or Monday at the latest). I will not include any Thursday or Friday games, just to keep things consistent with the entry deadline.

All entries will be due before noon (Eastern Time) on Saturday.

The season winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card.

Please post in this thread if you have any questions, suggestions, or comments.

Also, I strongly suggest setting up a recurring reminder on your computer or phone. If you miss a week, you can still have fun competing with other members, but it will be really hard for you to win the contest.

Hey Freak I didn't get my confirmation and I checked my spam folder also. I reentered my pics and get a screenshot of it just in case.

My wife's other cat (the one she calls mine) helped me with my picks this week.*



*My wife had a tortoiseshell cat who lived past 20 years. She was named Miss Kitty, after Amanda Blake's character on Gunsmoke. In her golden years, I was Miss Kitty's Marshall Dillon, defending her from larger or more aggressive cats trespassing in our yard. When Miss Kitty passed, my wife grieved for a long time.

After a few months, my wife began to send me pictures of cats - cat of the day, then cats on shelter sites. One day, during lunch, I followed the link to the shelter site from which she'd sent me a pic. Browsing, I found a photo of a tortoiseshell cat that uncannily resembled Miss Kitty. But wait! There's more! That cat had a littermate, another tortoiseshell. I sent the pictures & link back to my wife.

The very next day, I come home from work. My wife greets me at the door and hustles me inside. She'd gone to the shelter and adopted both cats. Then and there we made a bargain - I would feed them, and she would clean the litterbox. The cat with the uncanny resemblance to Miss Kitty adopted my wife as her familiar (principal staff). My wife "assigned" the other cat to me. I do my best to demonstrate that she is first in my affections. The cat returns the favor by sticking her claws in me at inopportune times.

Well, the coin has been flipped and here is how it landed:
Louisville - FSUs D is good, but not good enough to stop THAT guy in his own house
Georgia Tech - Vandy's D is improved, but its the 3 headed option monster
VA Tech - they bounce back from the BoB hangover
Oregon - pac 12 vs Big 10...really did flip a coin on this one
Miami, FL - REALLY want to go wiht AppySt here to build our own resume
Michigan St - Just haven't been impressed with ND this year
Texas AM - think Auby really got up for Clemson and over played themselves
Oklahoma - I'm in big 10 country and everyone hates OhSt...that's my only reasoning
Georgia - "Battle of the middle of the pack in the SECE" championship game here
Sthern Cal - USC wins and gets the pac 12 thrown out of the CFP running...making way for 2 SEC teams....hahahhaaaaa
