Well my theory is that since Shoop came in our D has defended every blade of grass so you know that has had to help especially in the Red Zone. :)

I also have noticed that many players from UT and other teams have had several knee and ankle injury's on this turf in the past 2 to 3 years!!!!!

Different schedule pattern and different strain of Bermuda grass. Plus, they didn't aerate it this summer.

There was a game on Sept. 1, then again on Sept. 17 & 24....and not again until Oct. 15th..then not until Nov. 4 then 11

You actually know about the grounds keeping of Shields-Watkins?

Impressive...

I think NE uses a sand based infill vs. the rubber pellets. I know some players complain about the rubber pellets and still picking them off days later.

They do, switched to it over the summer. There is still rubber in the base, but more sand than in most places. It's the start of a movement to eliminate the pellets, they have been anecdotally linked to cancers in teens.
