LOL
Or maybe, just maybe teams will adjust as they see what defenses are doing?
I know you're the KING of watching film but did you know that sometimes coaches call plays early on to set things up for later? And here's a real shocker, sometimes teams you play change their defense up quite a bit when they face you and you have to make adjustments from what you were expecting...

Injuries on defense were devastating. Period.

It's easy to say "fire the coaches" when in reality most were just horrible luck. A S&C can't help an injury from happening when a 300 LB guy rolls on your leg/ankle.

Exactly.

Watching Michigan v FSU the other night, the announcers kept talking about how much Michigan missed Peppers and Butt in that game.

Gimme a break!

If our Vols don't get any empathy for how many players they lost this year to injury then I don't have any empathy for any other team that loses their top players and has to resort to depth.

If it's one thing that our fanbase has taught me is that losing your best players is no excuse for losing games you are supposed to win.

Looking back on the season I believe I was far too hard on CBJ and Dobbs. Injuries hurts us badly and actually more than most due to our lack of depth but next year is another year of great expectations. I hope we don't miss Dobbs as bad as I fear we will as he was most likely a once in many years talent that will be very hard to replace. He put the team on his shoulders more than once and carried them to victory. The deal with Hurd's poison was impossible to foresee along with our injury debacle. CBJ is growing into his role as a top tier SEC level coach but that too takes time. I'm willing to give the team and coaches a wash on this past season with great hopes for our next years battles. GO VOLS.
